The MiG-29 is a fourth-generation twin-engine supersonic fighter developed in the 1970s in the Soviet Union. It entered service with the USSR Air Force in 1983 and continues to be operated around the world. In the NATO classification, this aircraft is called Fulcrum, and it was created to counter the American F-16 and F-18. It was first demonstrated in the West in 1986. Modification 9-13 is designated Fulcrum C.
After a major overhaul in 2012, all Ukrainian MiG-29s have been given a unique digital camouflage color scheme called Pixel, with each aircraft having its own unique pattern. Until 2014, Flight 57 was white and yellow, but after being overhauled in December 2014, it received a new digital camouflage. A special feature of this livery is the large national emblem of Ukraine - a trident located on the top of the fuselage.
