This aviation keychain is made from a fragment of the fuselage of the Boeing 757-200 G-LSAI, a true legend of the sky. The aircraft first flew in 1987 as B-2803 under the Chinese CAAC, and in 1988 it became part of China Southern Airlines. In 2006, the aircraft was acquired by the British carrier Jet2.com and received G-LSAI registration.
Alpha India was the last UK-registered Boeing 757 to operate on scheduled flights and a favorite of spotters due to the preserved Chinese interior elements, including the unique panels above the passengers. On January 5, 2025, the aircraft made its final commercial flight, LS812, from Geneva to Manchester, and on January 8, it took off for the last time to St. Athan, Wales, saying goodbye to dozens of aviation fans on the ground.
