Book Modern Combat Aircraft. Illustrated Encyclopedia
The next book in the series “Armament of Modern Armies” is dedicated to aviation. This is an attempt to make a kind of “snapshot”, to reflect the state of combat aviation in the world at the beginning of 2024. It covers three classes of combat aircraft: fighters, strategic bombers, and tactical strike aircraft (attack aircraft, frontline bombers, and fighter-bombers). The main selection criterion for our book was the fact that a particular aircraft was in service as of the beginning of 2024. However, since the development of combat aircraft is a continuous process, the book also includes some aircraft that are only being tested, such as the American B-21 bomber or the South Korean KF-21 fighter.
