The Bragin meteorite is a unique sample of cosmic material belonging to an extremely rare type - pallasites, which are the boundary zone between the rocky mantle and the metallic core of an ancient asteroid.
The first specimens of this meteorite were found in 1807 by peasants near the village of Kaporenki in what is now the Bragin district of Belarus. Over the course of more than a century, at least 13 fragments have been found, one of which, for example, was discovered while digging a well at a depth of more than 1 meter. During World War II, some samples were stolen by the occupying forces, while others were destroyed. The situation was further complicated by the fact that the region where the fragments are scattered fell within the Chernobyl contamination zone after 1986.
However, the samples recovered from the depths after the accident remain radiation-safe. The peculiarity of the Bragin meteorite is not only its aesthetic beauty (thanks to its transparent olivine grains) but also its scientific value. It helps to study the structure of planetesimals and the processes that took place in the Solar System billions of years ago. Such a sample is a real treasure for any collection, museum exhibition, or classroom.

Campo del Cielo is a large iron meteorite weighing 50 tons. The meteorite fell about 4,600 years ago, 800 km northwest of Buenos Aires in the provinces of Chaco and Santiago del Estero in modern-day Argentina. Incredible specimens of this meteorite can be found in museums and private collections around the world.
This meteorite traveled a long way through outer space, survived collisions and cataclysms before falling to Earth. It was found by a local hunter who passed his find to Brahim Tahir. Brahim, realizing the uniqueness of this specimen, sent it to his partner, Sean Tutorov, for classification in 2012.

It was an impressive atmospheric explosion that left behind more than 20 tons of iron debris scattered across the taiga. The meteorite belongs to the IIAB iron type - extremely dense and durable formations that originated inside ancient asteroids.
Northwest Africa 7831 is the official name of the meteorite. It was found in the ground on March 3, 2013 and excavated by a team of local residents.
