Vickers VC-10 K.3 Reg: ZA148 C/N: 883
The Vickers VC-10 is a British medium-range, long-range jet aircraft that first flew in 1962 at Brooklands, Surrey. The aircraft was developed for the British Overseas Aircraft Corporation (BOAC) to connect the empire. Like most British developments, the VC-10 had unique characteristics, including the ability to take off at short distances. It was also designed to operate in hot conditions, making it ideal for flying to airports with limited infrastructure.
The avionics and flight control system were a real technological advancement, providing the ability to land fully automatically in zero visibility conditions. However, this autopilot system was later abandoned as it proved to be insufficiently effective. For 41 years, the VC-10 held the record for the fastest crossing of the Atlantic among subsonic airliners.
In total, Vickers built 54 VC-10 aircraft of various modifications. One of them, manufactured as the Super VC-10 for East African Airways, was the last in the series. The first flight of this aircraft took place on March 21, 1967, and on March 31, it was delivered to the airline under the registration 5Y-ADA. The aircraft was operated by EAA until 1977, after which it was sold to the Royal Air Force in 1978. There it was converted into a K3 tanker and transferred to the 101 Squadron under the ZA148 index with the “G” designation.

A keychain made of real Sukhoi S70 Okhotnik-B (Okhotnik-B) is a heavy, stealthy unmanned combat aircraft (UAV). The development of the S-70 was started in 2011 by Sukhoi and later by the MiG aircraft corporation. The so-called Russian “innovative” prototype is apparently a “borrowed” version of the Boeing X-45 and Northrop Grumman X-47B programs from the early 2000s.
