It is reported that a Polish-made Piorun man-portable air defense system was responsible for the successful targeting. From the footage, it was clear that both crew members, Captain Vyacheslav Barayev and Lieutenant Alexander Khripunov, met their inevitable justified fate and died in the crash.

The so-called Russian “innovative” prototype is apparently a “borrowed” version of the Boeing X-45 and Northrop Grumman X-47B programs from the early 2000s.
