Keychain from the downed Russian Sukhoi S-70 Okhotnik-B (Light blue , S-70 Okhotnik)

10100 UAH

A keychain made of real Sukhoi S70 Okhotnik-B (Okhotnik-B) is a heavy, stealthy unmanned combat aircraft (UAV). The development of the S-70 was started in 2011 by Sukhoi and later by the MiG aircraft corporation. The so-called Russian “innovative” prototype is apparently a “borrowed” version of the Boeing X-45 and Northrop Grumman X-47B programs from the early 2000s.

A keychain from a downed Russian Sukhoi S70 Okhotnik

Funds, excluding commissions and taxes, go to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Some design features and technology of the Okhotnik-B could have been borrowed from Lockheed Martin's RQ-170 Sentinel. It is likely that the Russians received it through the Iranians, who shot down one of them near Kashmir, Iran, in 2011. It is also believed that the Okhotnik-B inherited some characteristics of the fifth generation Su-57. It is likely that the Okhotnik was designed to act as a “faithful wingman” under the control of the Su-57.

On October 5, 2024, a pair of aircraft - a manned Su-57 and an unmanned S-70 - took off from the Akhtubinsk airbase (located about 365 miles from the front line) for an operational test flight. The purpose of the flight was to assess the drone's capabilities in real combat. During the flight, the Okhotnyk apparently lost ground control, causing the drone to veer off course and end up in Ukrainian-controlled territory. Later, the radio intercepts examined made it clear that the Russians' last option in a situation that was rapidly spiraling out of control was to use an air-to-air missile launched by an escorting Su-57 to make sure the S-70 did not follow the fate of the RQ-170. The 20-ton machine crashed near Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. At the crash site, parts of the latest Western equipment from the United States, Germany and Switzerland were found among the wreckage. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also found the remains of a D-30 UMPK, a guided bomb based on the FAB-250, which confirms that the S-70 was launched to test its bombing capabilities.

We are deeply grateful to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the rare opportunity to acquire some parts of the wreckage and hope that in the future we will be able to work with many more successfully shot down Russian aircraft!
