Poster with Embraer E-190 airplane
Embraer E-Jet is a family of twin-engine medium-range narrow-body passenger airplanes for short- and medium-range routes manufactured by the Brazilian company Embraer. It includes four modifications: E-170, E-175, E-190 and E-195. The E-Jet was announced at the Le Bourget Air Show in 1999. Serial production began in 2002.
At the Le Bourget Airshow in 2013, Embraer officially announced the launch of a program to create the second generation of the E-Jets family of passenger aircraft. The new family was named E-Jets E2 and will include three new airliners: E175-E2, E190-E2 and E195-E2. The first E190-E2 is scheduled to enter service in the first half of 2018, the E195-E2 in 2019 and the E175-E2 in 2020.
